Establish the OTR
Clarify and document what the owner needs, what matters most, the planning-level budget, and any decisions that could affect architecture, interiors, electrical, or construction.
Independent technology advisory for luxury residential projects
I help builders, architects & designers clarify what owners need from technology—early enough to avoid change orders, delays and design compromises.
Discuss Your ProjectWhy LTC exists
Technology often reaches design and pricing before the owner’s needs are clear. LTC works with the owner and project team to identify what matters, what has been decided, what remains unresolved, and what could affect the rest of the project. Those findings are documented in the Owner’s Technology Requirements (OTR).
With the OTR in place, the builder, architect, designer, and technology integrator have a shared starting point. The integrator can design and price the systems against clearer expectations instead of trying to uncover them while developing the solution.
When needed, detailed system design and construction documents can be provided under a separate LTC design agreement. The selected integrator remains responsible for final engineering, product selection, installation, programming, commissioning, and support under its contract.
Clear owner requirements give everyone something concrete to design, price, and build toward.
During an independent advisory engagement, LTC is paid only by its contracting client. LTC does not sell equipment or installation and does not receive project-linked compensation from an integrator, bidder, manufacturer, or trade involved in that engagement.
How LTC helps
Focused support based on what the project needs now.
Clarify and document what the owner needs, what matters most, the planning-level budget, and any decisions that could affect architecture, interiors, electrical, or construction.
Compare integrators, proposals, assumptions, and scope differences against the OTR so the team can see what is included, what is missing, and what still needs to be decided.
Help the team keep approved decisions connected to the work, address changes, and resolve open questions as construction moves forward.

Founder-led advice
Curtis understands how residential technology is sold, planned, designed, installed, and supported because he has operated inside the integration industry. His experience spans senior business leadership, consultative sales, system planning, project strategy, and delivery. Today, he brings that practical judgment independently to the project.
A better starting point
Owners understand what they are choosing. Builders, architects, designers, and integrators understand what has been decided and what still needs attention. Decisions affecting budget, architecture, interiors, millwork, lighting, electrical, shading, and construction surface earlier—helping the team avoid change orders, delays, and design compromises caused by late technology decisions.
